"Chain" is created from a tall bodied gourd. This beautifully marbled piece features pine needle coiling to represent intertwining chain links. A great deal of skill and patience was needed to complete this special piece. "Chain" recently won a third place award in the open division at the Welburn Gourd Farm Festival in Fallbrook, CA. The highly competitive competition is sponsored by the California Gourd Society.
